Are you passionate about golf and ready to transform players’ games? Would you like to make 6 figures or more as a golf instructor and fitter? We are seeking a versatile and passionate Golf Instructor and Fitter to join our team.
This dual-role position is essential for providing comprehensive services to golfers, combining expert instruction to improve skills with precision club fitting to optimize equipment.
The ideal candidate will blend technical knowledge, teaching prowess, and customer service excellence to enhance golfers’ performance, drive sales, and foster long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement and Instruction: Warmly greet customers, conduct thorough pre-fitting interviews and golf lessons, utilizing in-depth knowledge of the golf swing to guide improvement while adhering to our proven processes.
- Club Preparation and Fitting: Clean and prepare clubs for fittings, lead warmup sessions, and continue gathering insights to tailor both instructional and fitting recommendations.
- Equipment Expertise: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of golf equipment, including the latest technologies, specifications, and their impact on swing mechanics and performance.
- Data-Driven Guidance and Coaching: Educate customers on fitting data and swing analysis, clearly explaining how it informs club selection and technique adjustments to empower informed decisions and sustained improvement.
- Schedule Management: Efficiently manage the fitting and lesson calendar to ensure smooth operations and timely service for all customers.
- Sales, Retention, and Follow-Up: Close sales, process checkouts, provide comprehensive post-fitting data and lesson summaries, and foster strong relationships to encourage repeat lessons and fittings. Stay updated on order statuses to address inquiries promptly.
- Post-Service Support: Offer ongoing support, including gapping sessions, club adjustments, and additional coaching to ensure customer satisfaction and continued progress.
- Technology Proficiency: Utilize computers and multiple software programs efficiently to analyze swing data, manage lesson and fitting plans, and enhance service delivery.
- Business Development: Actively prospect for new customers through word-of-mouth referrals, social media engagement, and content creation (e.g., producing 30-second to 2-minute daily videos for the social media team to showcase expertise and attract clients).
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of golf swing mechanics, fitting techniques, equipment, and industry trends.
- Proficiency in using computers and managing multiple programs or windows for instructional and fitting purposes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust, educate customers, and retain clients for ongoing services.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing schedules and operations efficiently.
- Proactive and creative in generating new business through networking and digital content.
- Passion for golf and a commitment to helping customers elevate their game through personalized instruction and precision fitting.
- Base salary Plus Commission from lessons and fittings. Total compensation starts at $48,000 annually and within 2-3 years can be up to $100k+.
- 90-day probationary period will apply.

- Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges
- Collaborate with the team to meet sales targets
- List products on e-commerce sales channels
What We’re Looking For:
- 1 year of golf-related experience (required)
- Strong sales skills and a passion for customer service
- Retail experience preferred
- Proficiency in computers (Word, Excel, Google Chrome)
- Excellent communication and cash handling skills
