How It Works

Step 1

Learn the Data

What happens: You’ll get a complete introduction to TrackMan technology. We’ll show you exactly what the numbers mean, which stats actually matter for your game, and how to use the free TrackMan app to track everything.

Time commitment: About 2-3 hours to get comfortable with the system.

Why it matters: You can’t improve what you don’t measure. TrackMan takes the guesswork out of golf. Instead of wondering why you’re slicing, you’ll see the exact clubface angle and path that’s causing it.

What you’ll walk away with:

  • TrackMan app downloaded and set up on your phone
  • Understanding of your key numbers (ball speed, launch angle, spin rate, etc.)
  • Confidence that you’re not just hitting balls—you’re gathering data
Step 2

Assess Your Game

What happens: Play a full 18 holes while tracking every shot in the TrackMan app. Then come in for your first lesson where we’ll review your round together—every drive, approach shot, and putt.

What we’re looking for:
Where are you actually losing strokes? (Most golfers guess wrong)
What patterns show up under pressure?
Which parts of your game need work first?

Why it matters: Most golfers practice what they enjoy, not what they need. This assessment shows us the truth. Maybe you think you need driver help, but the data shows you’re losing 4 strokes per round around the greens. Now we know where to focus.

What you’ll walk away with:

  • A clear picture of your strengths and weaknesses

(backed by real data, not opinions)

  • Your first lesson focused on what will actually lower your scores
  • No more wasted practice time on the wrong things

Step 3

Build Your Practice Plan

What happens: We’ll sit down with you and create a personalized weekly practice routine. This isn’t generic advice; it’s based on your schedule, your goals, and your assessment data.

We’ll map out:
How many hours per week you practice (and what to work on)
How many rounds you should play per month
When to challenge yourself with the TrackMan Combine
What drills and constraints to use during practice sessions

Why it matters: Improvement doesn’t happen by accident. Golfers who follow a structured plan improve 3-4x faster than those who just “hit balls when they feel like it.” This plan gives you direction, accountability, and purpose every time you practice.

What you’ll walk away with:

  • A written practice schedule tailored to your life
  • Specific drills for your swing priorities
  • Clarity on what “good practice” actually looks like
Step 4

Optimize Your Equipment

What happens: We’ll evaluate every club in your bag. We’re checking for outdated technology, incorrect specs, and gapping issues (like having two clubs that go the same distance). Then we’ll do a full club fitting to make sure your equipment matches your swing.

What we’re looking for:
Are you hitting the center of the clubface consistently?
Are there distance gaps between your irons?
Is your driver/putter/wedge setup holding you back?
Do your clubs fit your current swing (not the swing you had 5 years ago)?

Why it matters: Bad equipment creates bad habits. If your 7-iron is too long or your driver shaft is too stiff, you’ll develop compensations in your swing just to make contact. Fix the gear first, then we can work on real technique. Many golfers gain 10-15 yards and hit more fairways just from proper fitting—no swing changes needed.

What you’ll walk away with:

  • A clear list of what to upgrade, what to keep, and what to replace
  • Properly fit clubs that match your swing speed and tendencies
  • Confidence that misses are from your swing, not your equipment

Step 5

Track Progress & Stay Consistent

What happens: Now we’re in the long game. We’ll set benchmarks (your starting point) and KPIs (key performance indicators) to track improvement over time. You’ll continue taking regular lessons—both on the range and on the course—and we’ll adjust your plan as you improve.

What we’re tracking:

  • Swing metrics (clubhead speed, attack angle, face control)
  • Ball flight numbers (carry distance, dispersion, consistency)
  • Scoring stats (fairways hit, greens in regulation, putts per round)
  • TrackMan Combine scores

Why it matters: This is where most golfers fall off. They take a few lessons, see some improvement, then stop coming. But real improvement takes consistency. Weekly lessons = weekly accountability = steady progress. We’ll keep you on track, celebrate wins, and adjust when something isn’t working.

What you’ll walk away with:

  • Proof of your improvement (not feelings, actual data)
  • A sustainable routine that fits your life
  • Confidence that you’re not just getting better this month—you’re building a system that works long-term

Bottom Line

This isn’t a quick fix. It’s a proven system that works if you work it.

The golfers who improve the fastest:

  • Show up weekly (not randomly)
  • Trust the process (even when progress feels slow)
  • Practice with purpose (not just beat balls)
  • Stay consistent (this is the secret)
